everyone grinds leetcode but almost no one practices the actual interview conversation

i've been noticing this gap for a while now. people spend 100+ hours on leetcode, they memorize behavioral frameworks, they read Cracking the Coding Interview cover to cover — but they walk into the room and freeze when asked 'walk me through your resume' or 'why are you interested in this role?'

the thing that bothered me was watching smart people who could solve hard algorithms completely fumble the conversational part of interviews. they'd blank on explaining their projects. they'd ramble for three minutes on a question that needed a 45-second answer. they'd never practiced *speaking* their answers out loud, under pressure, with follow-ups coming at them.
